• Where is the Town/Court Clerk located?

  • The Town/Court Clerk is located next to the Westville Police Department. Office hours are Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) 10:00 a.m. - 4:​00 p.m. 

 

• Does Westville have animal control?

  • Westville has a dog catcher. Can only pick up within city limits and there are fees associated. ​You can call the Town Clerk for detailed information.

• Can I make payment arrangements for my fine(s)?​

  • Some persons may qualify to make payment arrangements.  Contact the Town Clerk for to see if you qualify​.

• My tenant has not paid their rent. Can I have an officer come with me and evict them? 

  • All evictions must go through the district court system. An officer cannot make someone leave a residence due to non-payment​. This is considered a civil matter.

• How do I rent the Community Building?

  • The community building may be rented for a fee.  Deposit ​is required. Contact the Town Clerk for current rates and process.

• Can I pay for my citation online?

  • Yes. Go to www.myfinepayment.com to make payment online. ​

• Do you take payment over the phone?

  • You can call Court Solutions at 877-591-8768 to make payment​ over the phone.  The Town of Westville does not take payment over the phone and only accepts cash (in the exact amount), check, or money order.  Warrants must be paid in CASH ONLY.

• Do I need a permit to have a yard sale?

  • Yes. You can obtain a yard sale permit at the Town Clerk's office or the Westville Police Departmet. The cost is $5.00 for 3 consecutive days. No yard sales permitted on Sundays. ​

• Does the Fire Department fill up pools?

  • No.​

• When is court?

  • Westville has court the first Thursday of every month in the back room of the Westville Police Department. The date you receive your citation will determine your court date. ​

• When are the town's regular council meetings?

  • The regular monthly council meetings are held the first Monday of each month excluding holidays. Should a holiday fall on a scheduled Monday the meeting is then pushed to the following Monday unless otherwise authorized. ​
